Nour During the Summer – Open Until July 12th
Around the true start of summer in late June, Nour usually closes its doors, leaving a month for inspiration, rest, and relaxation. For the first time since our opening in 2022, we’ll remain open (with the exception of Midsummer weekend) until July 12th. The team and chef Sayan Isaksson feel this is an opportunity to incorporate summer produce into the menu. The space itself is distinctly spring- and summerlike, offering a pleasant experience to guests and tourists visiting Sweden during its more hospitable months.
By this time last year, Ida Bauhn had joined the team and won the Stella Award for culinary excellence and for her positive impact on gender equality within the industry. 2024 marked a year of culinary development at our beloved restaurant on Norrlandsgatan 24.
This year, following a spring of welcoming a new restaurant manager, Alma, and a new sommelier, Elsa, from Röda Huset, the service side of the restaurant has been revitalized with fresh perspectives and new routines. In short, in 2025, our team has never been stronger.
Food-wise, spring and summer in Sweden bring a variety of vegetables and produce to our elongated country. Asparagus, kale, tomatoes, and rhubarb are suddenly in season after a long winter, bringing new options to our seasonal menu. “Since we’re open during the summer, which is a first, it opens the possibility of using all the delicious summer produce” restaurateur Sayan Isaksson says. The kitchen team is also preparing for both local and international culinary competitions. David Törnquist will compete in the Culinary Olympics and the World Cup, while Ida Bauhn is one of the six finalists to the final of Årets Kock (Chef of the Year), the most prestigious award a chef can win in Sweden.
This marks the third year Nour has been open, and we hope you’ll choose us for your summer dining. Reservations for (N)our summer are available on our website.
